What happens when you take the prayer service and start completely from scratch?

Project Reshimu is an ongoing exploration of immersive Jewish liturgical experiences, putting the content of the service in a completely new light and allowing for further insight.

Each service combines original liturgical writing, sound design, and intentional use of light and darkness. The goal is not to replace traditional davening but to offer an alternative mode: slower, stranger, more embodied.

The first Project Reshimu service. A Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv experience moving through traditional prayers—rewritten as meditative paraphrases—while the room shifts from light to darkness and back.
